For those that haven’t heard of you before could you tell us a bit about yourselves and your story?
We’re a 3 piece alternative pop band from Huddersfield / London. Huss and JC went to school together, moved down to London and met Freddie through a mutual friend. We’ve been together for 2 years now.
How did you get involved with Coffee House Sessions?
We’d heard about the coffee house sessions before and thought it would be a great way to play our music in cities we’d never been to before.
What do you think makes your music stand out, makes it different?
We try to write music that we really believe in, sharing stories from past experiences that people can hopefully connect with.
You are currently in the process of writing and recording, could you tell us a bit about that?
We split our writing and recording between studios in LA and London. We don’t like to set rules or limitations around the creative process, so it varies from song to song.
What is the most interesting venue you have performed at?
We performed at a private members club in London which was full of taxidermy. We had a polar bear staring at us for the whole of our set which was quite unnerving…
What plans do you have for the rest of the year?
When we have finished the coffee house tour we will be heading back to the studio to finish recording our debut album, which is due for release next year!
