Tyneside Rain is the story of two brothers growing up in a changing world. The tale spans six years from the Summer of Love, 1967, a colourful, optimistic time to the harsh winter of 1973, by which time the brothers’ hopes and aspirations had become, in different ways, broken dreams.

Well known as the frontwoman for Judas Priestess and Swear On Your Life, as well as a former host on MTV2, VH1 and Fuse, and the “Rock Goddess” of the Afropunk movement, MILITIA VOX officially stepped forward as a solo artist in 2013. Based in NYC and originally hailing from Columbia, Maryland, Militia has performed with Twisted Sister, Living Colour, Taylor Dayne, Nancy Sinatra and Cyndi Lauper. MV has become a crowd favorite at national festivals and events- she has held a residency at Times Scare in Times Square NYC, headlined motorcycle rallies as well as the prestigious Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM).
Militia’s mantra is “Disgrace Your Stereotype” and she lives her life by this adage, encouraging people to be true to themselvesand rise above labels. She is a magnetic public speaker at national events, colleges and conferences, as well as being featured in several books, tv shows and films. M is also a voting member of The Recording Academy/Grammy Association.
Her first solo album “BAIT” was self funded and independently released on Halloween 2014 to much international critical acclaim. It’s the first part of a 3-album concept series, “THE VILLAINESS“, which represents Militia as a response to, and the antithesis of the pop princesses of today. She describes the music as “Femme Metale”- in praise of wicked women. The 2nd album in the series “ISOSCELES” (e.p.) is due out on September 3, 2016.

A singer-songwriter from North-West England who is releasing and touring his Debut EP ‘Fly Away’ in November 2016.Jack Woodward’s songs have been broadcast on BBC introducing Lancashire, his influences include The Killers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bruce Springsteen, Paolo Nutini, Newton Faulkner and John Mayer. His track ‘Honey’ was nominated for Best Unsigned Song 2016 by ‘Best Of British Unsigned’.
Thirty Three Connection
Thirty Three Connection are a piano driven indie-rock collective from Edinburgh. The band when established in 2012 were the duo of Andrew Brannen – Lead Vocals/Drums and Stephen Gillon – Vocals/Piano/Synth. Described as, “…classic power pop driven by wonderful piano instead of the more usual guitar, and which puts me in mind of ‘Tears For Fears’ amongst other things.’ – Scots Whay Hae! and ‘The pair have certainly made a superb first impression and their talents deserve to be exposed to a wider audience.’ – TLMSP
With moderate success as the two-piece the band took time out of gigging in 2015 and focused on writing. In May 2016 they went into the studio to record their debut EP with Mark Morrow at The Depot Studios. With the help of Sinclair Fraser (Guitar) and Ivan Rea (Violin) they recorded the 4 track EP to be released in October 2016. Their new single In the Rain was debuted on 22/8/16 on BBC Radio Scotland with Vic Galloway alongside Mogwai, Boxed In and Isle.
