Tourist Attractions are a 4 piece Indie Rock band from Manchester. New Single ‘Million Miles Away’ Out Now. 2016 is a year with big things lined up for the band. With gigs at Gorilla (Manchester), Factory (Manchester), Sound Control (Manchester), King Georges Hall (Blackburn), and more, potentially releasing their next single with a small label, and playing festivals like Darwen Live, Summerfest, and MooFest, it’s a year that will hopefully bring the band to a new, bigger audience of real music fans, in an industry where no one is too sure where the future is heading. Tourist Attractions know where they are going though.
The Liverpool based indie outfit, Seprona are looking to make waves on the scene with a new E.P. and a fresh and unusual spin on things.Headed by frontman, Daniel Badger, the gang look to create a sonic bridge between the mundane and the macabre, the frenzied and the trippy; The night and day!
Joe Grove on drums and Tom Larkin on bass develop rhythmic canvas’ between them, moody and pulsing, only to be hued by siren-like guitar sounds courtesy of Sammy Issa, and the pensive, telltale vocals of Daniel Badger.
After recently playing Liverpool SoundCity, alongside bands such as The Vaccines, The Flaming Lips, Belle&Sebastian etc. Seprona are now looking to continue their ascent and cement themselves as firm favourites in the minds of indie music lovers, far and wide.
After early shows supporting Mystery Jets, Slow Club and Summer Camp, Young Romance self-released their debut 7″ ‘Pale’ via the Banquet Records imprint, and after a run of shows including Dot to Dot festival and Club NME at KOKO, they went on to release their 10” ‘Wild EP’ which was produced by Simon “Barney” Barnicott who has previously worked with the Arctic Monkeys, Peace, Suede and Bombay Bicycle Club.
The first single to be taken from the EP received praise from the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), John Kennedy (XFM) and BBC Introducing. The band then toured Europe with shows in Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Austria in March 2015. May 2015 saw Young Romance perform on the BBC Introducing stage at The Great Escape Festival, embarking on a headline tour as well as playing New York Popfest, supporting The Wedding Present, The Primitives and Joanna Gruesome.
In November 2016 the duo released their debut album ‘Another’s Blood’ on Banquet Records.
