Who inspired you to get on stage and perform?

I got my inspiration from my mother, who was a former Katthak Dancer. From a very childhood I got opportunities to experience live concert and amazed every time with magnificent performances of different artists, with the stage, lights, audiences, the applause and the energy of performing live. So, it’s a childhood dream which came true and I feel lucky to perform at national and international platforms to present my music with my band Adbhutam, which is always a heaven like experience.

You perform music in a whole variety of styles, how did that come about?

I learned Indian Classical Music & Carnatic Music “Sarod” at the age of Six, and started performing as a solo artist at age of twelve, Later I learned other styles of music on guitar and tried to apply on my compositions on the base of Indian Classical Music on guitar with the playing style of “Sarod”, more of Indian Classical Musical approach, which turned to my style of playing.

Artists like, Pt. Ravi Shankar, Ustad Amzad Ali Khan along with versatile guitar players like Prasanna, Joe Satriani, Salsh (Guns N Roses) inspired me a lot to compose and expand my boundaries of Creativity and composing music.
