Melti joins us with their new music and Karla Alcocer’s red hot violin.

MELTÍ is a Baja California electronic rock band that merges elements Jazz, rock, folk, trip-hop, environmental sounds, among other genres in a flexible eclectic repertoire. Comprised of only four musicians: César Beltrán (bass/voice), Joel García (keyboard/trumpet/voice), Karla Alcocer (violin/xylophone/voice) and Julio Beltrán (drums) they deliver more sound than many larger bands.  The word “Meltí” means coyote in kiliwa language (native ethnic group of North of Baja California) and the band is occasionally seen in beautifully crafted coyote masks. All four of MELTÍ’s band members write and arrange as well as play, part of how they are able to create a much bigger sound than most 4-person bands can achieve. Audiences love them for the unique sounds and the lyrics that tell stories with deep emotions
