Whitney Tai: new songs stun the reviewers

Named by Music Connection Magazine as one of the top 100 unsigned bands, and by IndiePulseMusic as sheer talent, the singer-songwriter Whitney Tai is doing something that is rare into today’s musical landscape: She’s walking on the cutting edge of pop and indie without sacrificing emotional honesty. Her songs range from fragile to fierce, from a childlike voice to heavy-duty alt-rock, from pain to peace.  She has recently released two songs, “The Cure” and “Sleepwalking to the Moon” which have drawn rave reviews and thousands of streams.  An architect by training, her sense of design in both music and presentation stands out, even in Hollywood. She joins us Friday to celebrate the release last week of  “Sleepwalking to the Moon.”
