Rumba Madre. New song, new video, and many, many laughs

The Rumba Madre was founded in 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. And is truly Sin Fronteras. Rubén is a classically trained guitarist and singer from Colombia with vast experience in Latin-American folk music. Ben is a bass player from Puerto Rico with many years of playing Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, and other Caribbean styles under his belt. Finally, Galician/Basque/Spanish David is a contemporary trained guitarist and vocalist with a strong background in Spanish popular music ranging from flamenco to Galician Celtic music. In addition, David is a professor of Spanish cultural studies at a US university and conducts research on the relationship between music, social movements, and political identities. All this mixed with a witty, and often surrealist, sense of humor, puts together a fresh cultural phenomenon that aims to help cultivate a more respectful and caring world, especially under the contemporary political and economic climate we live in. The new video is a hysterical sendup of ICE and immigration policies.
