Let me introduce you to SENECA.
This latest release, “The Ventriloquist,” is guitar-heavy with massive drums. The song ebbs and flows between high-intensity and mellow melodies, but it is tight with instrumental semantics. It is like scientific accuracy when it comes to how SENECA executes real ROCK. The lead vocal is reminiscent of David Bowie’s register – low, emotional, and piercing. The storyline is about not being timid when it comes to living your life and how you should pull the strings in your own life. The lyrics sing: Why so faint-hearted? So passionless / tasting the waters from an undiscovered stream/drinking so cautious incase the poison isn’t free / you barely dare to take a dip / another opportunity off the cold wet bank starts to slip.
The vocal growls, anthemic hook, and distorted pullbacks are all here ladies and gents. This is ALTERNATIVE ROCK!
