Bliss Bliss is the Nashville-based married Sophisti-Pop duo Renee and Lang. Renee sang background with a number of artists in the Contemporary Christian genre including with Amy Grant during the biggest years and tours of Amy’s career. She also sung with artists and for producers across the board from the late Rich Mullins to country legend Alex Harvey. Lang moved to Nashville from California and quickly began touring, live dates and studio work as a drummer with artists such as Margaret Becker, Michael W Smith, Celtic rockers Ceili Rain and others. They met and together produced “Fight For Peace” which became a #1 hit, not bad for a first single. They toured in the US and overseas. A year or so after meeting they got married and decided to stop touring separately and make music together. That led to a 2016 remix that charted #6 on DJ charts, the “No Apology” single in 2017, a critically successful EP in 2018, and a string of Billboard dance chart remixes including three what we are featuring on Friday’s show.
