This week we are going to explore the blues in the US and Latin America. The quintessential American music form with solid roots in Africa, the blues have spread around the world and we will listen to a little of where it has gone, South of the Border. From blind blues guitarist Joe Stuckey in Macon GA, to hot Guadalajara rock and blues Cantante Dianne Terry, to to the Ambassador of Blues herself, Mimi-based Kat Riggins, to the Mexico City country blues blasters The Mexicans Standoff, to midwestern saxman Derek Brown, we will do some travelling with the blues this week.
