Latin Alternative this week, with a focus on Mexico

The Wohl Band,  Las Cafeteras, Maria del Pilar, Mitre, Aparato, El Twangero and many more will provide the music for this Friday’s day after Thanksgiving show. with music by Latin alternative bands – one of the fastest-growing genres in the world.  Latin alt comes in many forms – mariachi with a rock twist, blues in Espanol with a little Latin beat behind it, Son Jorocho mixed with rap, dreamy post-rock, down and dirty Mexican hip hop. It’s all good and I will play ten of my favorite bands this Friday while you digest the dinner you ate in front of your laptop while zooming the family
