Lachi The Real Melody – Contigo
Contigo is the addictive new single from Lachi The Real Melody it’s warm summery vibes provide a welcome escape from the cold January drudgery. Lazaro Adrian was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States, where he continues his career as an artist. His father is the reason for his path in music. Lachi grew up listening to artists like Keith Sweat, Barry White, Michael Jackson, and many others who influence his unique style. Contigo is the first single from Lachi The Real Melody’s album which is due to be released later this year.
Another Life – Whim
Whim by Another Life was mostly written/recorded in his home studio in London last year. The indie hip-hop track is reminiscent of bands like 90s favourites Space. The track began as a drunken ramble over a hip-hop type beat late one evening after returning from a night out and took shape over a few months of recording/producing. The chill beat and dreamlike stream of consciousness rap combine to make an effective track.
Pamela Sue Mann – I Want Your Soul
I want your Soul is a twisted dark and tempting single from Pamela Sue Mann which is being re-released due to a new video which you can see above. The track features a wealth of talent from all corners of the music industry including (PJ Harvey); Paul Cuddeford on guitar (Steve Harley, Last Day Sect); Sterling Campbell (David Bowie) and Yuval Lion (David Byrne) on drums and percussion; Gerry Leonard on guitar (David Bowie); Byron Isaacs on bass (Lumineers); additional artists on backing vocals; and Kevin Killen, engineer (Kate Bush/U2).

Our final single on the mixtape this week is The God Plan from Paul K this single is beautifully chillout and relaxing and yet it has slightly unnerving undertones. This single is from the album ‘Anandamide’, which was written and recorded during the Covid 19 lockdown period. The album explores spirituality, the human condition, and post-pandemic life explored through modern atmospheric electronica.
