Review: Lower Loveday – Seeing You Around

When you hear lyrics that are more like declarations instead of love letters, you know you have found something champion!  Enter, “Seeing You Around,” a song by LOWER LOVEDAY, a Manchester-based Indie Pop band who are fusing 80s music with today’s soundscape.  The storyline of the track is about interests weaving into love, and that point when the pendulum of affection swings closer to core emotions rather than slight affection.

Vocalist, Mark, brings to life any lyric by breathing life into the words – this is created with smooth, flexible, vocal executions, and it engages any listener.  In addition, Tom’s percussions create the heart and soul of the music, leading every other instrument in sound to form a strong instrumental foundation.  But what makes LOWER LOVEDAY’s music so infectious is that awesome, surgically crafted, fusion of Synth-Pop melded to house grooves and strong melodies.  This has summer banger written all over it!
