The wait is finally over! The new album by western Pennsylvania’s Matt Maloof, Howm I Doin was released on November 18, 2022, and it was unequivocally worth the wait! This eight-track album is a spectacular brew of rock, traditional country, and poignant and relatable lyrics all served up with Matt’s signature style and powerful voice.
This record is stellar from start to finish and because of its versatility, there’s something in it for everyone. Stand-out songs on the album are the opening track “Waiting For The Night,” which sets up the delicious, musical smorgasbord that follows; “The Mark” a personal song about overcoming heartbreak; “Alone And Waiting,” a poignant and melodic tune about unrequited love – something all of us can relate to; “I Can’t Remember,” a supercool, bluesy sing-along tune; “Accustom To The Game” where Maloof sings alongside former Nashville Star semi-finalist, Sean Patrick McGraw and “My Guitar” an entertaining, traditional country song that Johnny, Hank, and Merle would be proud of!
Matt’s album release party was canceled due to the hellacious snowstorm that hit western Pennsylvania and New York last week.
