ALANA SPRINGSTEEN
Originally from Virginia Beach, the now Nashville resident, Alana Springsteen is releasing her new album, Twenty Something, in three parts. She released the 6-song part one, Messing It Up, in March of this year. The three-song part two, Figuring It Out was released this month and part three is scheduled for release on July 14, 2023.

ALICE MERTON
Alice Merton, who was born in Germany and raised in Canada and England achieved success with her debut single, “No Roots,” released in 2017. Her most recent release is an double-single, Charlie Brown that includes, “Charlie Brown,” and “Waste My Life.”

ANI DiFRANCO
American/Canadian songstress Ani DiFranco has released more than 20 albums in her career so far. Most recently she did a re-release of her album Little Plastic Castle released in 1998. This 25th Anniversary Edition sees a new remaster by Heba Kadry, the addition of three bonus tracks mixed by Tchad Blake, and a new CD package and first-time release on vinyl (2 LP). To make Little Plastic Castle, Ani returned to one of her favorite places to record in that era—the live-in studio the Congress House in Austin, Texas.

ASHLEY KUTCHER
New York-based singer/songwriter, Ashley Kutcher, has just released her poignant and heartfelt new single, “Boy From Carolina” in June.
While gigging at local bars and going to school for nursing, Kutcher took over Tik Tok, inspiring millions. Her song “Love You From A Distance” garnered over 80 million Spotify streams and paved the way for her first EP, One Eighty, in 2021.

ASHLEY WINELAND
Now touring to promote her new album, I’m Gonna Ride, Ashley Wineland released the first single, “I’m Going Home” off the album in March. The single was released in both English and Spanish.

Belinda Carlisle, lead singer of The Go-Go’s, and Diane Warren have a long history of working together after first collaborating on Carlisle’s 1987 album, Heaven on Earth, which featured the Warren-written songs, “I Get Weak“ and “World Without You“.

Colbie Caillat has released her first single, “Worth It,” since her last album, The Malibu Sessions released in 2016 – it’s actually a double-single with the song “Pretend.”
Caillat, who is a multi-platinum-selling and Grammy-winning artist, wrote the song with Liz Rose and AJ Pruis.

Singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson helped write the score for the new original series, Tiny Beautiful Things from Liz Tigelaar, based on Cheryl Strayed’s best-selling book.
Michaelson collaborated with composers/producers Gabriel Mann and Juan Ariza. She also wrote and recorded a new original song for the series titled “Not Gone” that will be featured in the finale, and Michaelson covered the Indigo Girls’ “Closer to Fine” for the premiere, as well.

LA-based singer/songwriter, Jess Williamson, has just released her fifth studio album, Time Ain’t Accidental. Joy Oladokun, a daughter of Nigerian immigrants and a proud, queer, black person, just released her fourth studio album, Proof Of Life, this past April. JULIE BYRNE
Western New York’s own, Julie Byrne, has just released the third and final single, “Moonless,” from her upcoming album, The Greater Wings released on July 7th.
“Moonless” follows Byrne’s “Summer Glass” and album title track “The Greater Wings,” released earlier this year.
Byrne began working on her third album, The Greater Wings, with her partner, Eric Littman, in the fall of 2020. The album was shelved for six months after Littman’s tragic and untimely death in early 2022. Although most of the album was written and recorded before Littman’s death, Byrne picked up the torch and finished the album without her partner.

KARLA BONOFF
Karla Bonoff got her start writing songs for the likes of Melissa Manchester, Linda Rondstadt and others and then released her first solo record in 1977. Since then, Bonoff has released several studio albums including her new release, All My Life: Mellow Gold, which includes remasters of “All My Life,” “Standing Right Next To Me,” and “Goodbye My Friend,” and includes live recordings of “I Can’t Hold On,” “Baja Oklahoma,” and “The Water Is Wide.”

Katie Melua just released her 9th studio album, Love & Money. Melua was born in the Soviet Union and became a British Citizen in 2005.
While performing at the BRIT School Showcase, Melua caught the eye of songwriter and producer Mike Batt. Batt was originally looking for an acid-rock band, a bass player, and a singer capable of singing “jazz and blues in an interesting way”. After hearing Melua sing “Faraway Voice” (a song she wrote about the death of her idol Eva Cassidy), Batt signed the 18-year-old Melua to his small Dramatico recording and management company and took her into the studio, producing her first three albums during the subsequent years, plus her fifth and sixth albums.

Katy Perry is celebrating the 15th anniversary of her debut album, One of the Boys, by releasing a new deluxe edition of the album.
