October Drift are set to perform at YES this Monday in Machester and with shows at Reading and Leeds Festival, The Great Escape, and Glastonbury already under their belts, this is a great opportunity to catch them at an intimate venue whilst you can. October Drift recently released their debut album ‘Forever Whatever’ a brooding anthemic rock album inspired by The Bends-era Radiohead, The National, Joy Division, Interpol and Nick Drake.
Supporting October Drift on Monday are New Luna and Bards. New Luna has been a staple of Manchester’s underground alternative scene since forming in 2016, their dream-pop is inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Lift To Experience and The Chameleons. Bards are a Manchester-based progressive rock band that combine heavy, hard-hitting tones with gentle ambient breaks and soft melodic numbers to create an atmosphere that is entirely their own. They formed in late 2016 releasing their debut single ‘Victory’ in 2018, which was followed by their debut EP ‘A Place You Go To Dream’ in 2019.
